Sampson

Name: Sampson

Age: Adult

Sex: Male

Breed: Rabbit

Ref number: 68

Personality:
Sampson is a very sociable and active rabbit, you will often see him zooming around in his outside pen. He loves nothing more than going out into our free roam space, binkying, digging and zooming around. Sampson enjoys puzzle toys, keeping him busy trying to get to the treats or veg which of course helps him to display natural foraging behaviours. Above all, he would like nothing more than a female companion of his own to spend his days with.
Behaviour:

Sampson is a very inquisitive boy, he often wants to be where you are but can be unsure when it comes to picking him up, so he will need a family/couple/individual that can take it slow when it comes to handling. Sampson is working towards being carrier trained, this is something that can be continued in the home and the staff can advise on this. At least one meeting is required where staff can discuss Sampson, his requirements and answer any questions prior to the mixing of both rabbits.

Housing:
He can be housed either indoors, in a large rabbit proof room, or outdoors, in a large shed with an aviary/run attached. With a minimum of 6ft X 4ft for each. This will allow Sampson to display his natural behaviours such as digging and hopping!
Children/pets:
Can live with cats/dogs in a separate room. Age requirement of children is 8+ years, this is due to him being a little nervous when it comes to handling,  so child supervision for interaction is advised.
Vet history:
Sampson has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated, and has had his teeth checked. He currently has no medical issues.
Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £30. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbit.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
