Personality:
Pickle didn’t take long to settle into our care and showed that she was keen to explore her surroundings. Although a little shy, her confidence has come along vastly so she is enjoying making new friends each day. She is an affectionate girl and can be chatty at times. In her previous home, she was known to be playful and we are beginning to see this side of her as she is becoming braver within the cattery environment.
Behaviour:
Pickle will often greet her trusted handlers as they come into her unit and will wait for you to sit down to initiate for some gentle strokes. She likes to have company so eventually she settles down nearby amongst her toys and has a snooze. Pickle has started to come out onto the cattery floor but she is still a little wary, especially when there is external sounds so she tends to remain nearby her unit for safety.
Housing:
Pickle can be wary when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to her unit where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit a quiet area in the house to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Southampton (SO19) area.
Children/pets:
Pickle could live with older secondary school aged children who will give her time to settle. Pickle cannot live with other cats as she did not get on with the other resident cats in a previous home. Pickle cannot live with a dog.
Vet history:
Pickle is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Pickles has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
