Obi-wan and Rey

Name: Obi-wan & Rey

Age: 11 weeks

Sex: Male and female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 86 & 87

Personality:
Obi and Rey sadly came into the shelter after being found abandoned in a carrier with their litter mates. They are quite shy kittens but they are growing in confidence daily. Obi is a little braver than Rey but both are still quite hand shy.

Behaviour:
Obi and Rey are very playful in their unit, playing with a variety of toys and their litter mates. After burning off all their energy they like to cuddle up together to recharge their batteries and go again. With calm and patient owners in a quiet household they will thrive.

Housing:
Obi and Rey do get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to their unit where they feel safe, so for this reason they would benefit from their own room or quiet area to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a private garden.

Children/pets:
With a slow introduction they could possibly live with another younger cat, or a dog who is used to living with cats: they will need to be used to kittens with high energy levels. They could possibly live with older aged primary school children providing they are calm and respectful and understand they are not a toy.

Vet history:
Both kittens are neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Their second vaccination is due between the 29/5/26 -5/6/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £210. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
