Name: Misty
Age: 5 years
Sex: Female
Breed: Lionhead
Ref number: 35
Personality:
Misty is a quiet, but sweet girl. Misty can normally be found having a nice chew on one of her chew toys! When shes not munching away, she can be found lying down, relaxing in the sunshine! Misty is now looking for a neutered male to spend her time with.
Behaviour:
Misty will need a slower approach to handling due to her nervous nature. That being said, she has improved massively since being in our care and now really enjoys a nice stroke! She will require at least one meeting where staff can discuss Misty and her requirements. Questions prior to the bonding of rabbits can be answered too.
Housing:
Misty can be housed either as an indoor or outdoor rabbit. This could be a large rabbit-proof room, or a large outdoor shed with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing is 6ft x 4ft, and either accommodation must be safe environments that allow her to display her natural behaviours, like digging and foraging.
Children/pets:
Misty can live around other animals, but to be kept separately. She can also live with children of secondary school age (11-18 years) and up. Younger children should be supervised when interacting/handling rabbits.
Vet history:
Misty has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated. She has also had a full teeth check and has no current health issues.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
