Mika

Name: Mika

Age: 2 years 8 months

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 56

Personality:
Mika is a sweet girl and has gotten to know the cattery staff well whilst settling. She is affectionate and enjoys having company but she can be a little sensitive to the external noises in the cattery environment.

Behaviour:
When Mika hears her unit door open, she often comes straight over to greet you by rubbing around your legs. She is on and off your lap and will nudge you to initiate for strokes; sometimes reaching out with her paw to let you know she wants more fuss. She settles nearby on the shelf, quietly purring and will give you a gentle headbutt on your face every so often. She is beginning to show interest in her stick toy, however her favourite is rolling in cat mint leaves until she’s worn out and ready for a nap.

Housing:
Mika likes the comfort of her covered bed whilst she is getting used to the external noises in the cattery environment so for this reason she would benefit from a quiet space or room to initially settle in for a few days before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be rehomed in Portsmouth (PO1 area).

Children/pets:
Mika will need to be the only pet in the household. Mika could live with an older secondary school aged child as she has previously lived with younger children but showed that she would prefer to live in a quieter, more predictable household.

Vet history:
Mika is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Mika has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
