Name: Mae
Age: Approx. 8 months
Sex: Female
Breed: Abyssinian
Ref number: 32
Mae is a very sweet inquisitive girl who loves her emotional support cow teddy and loves her food, especially red bell peppers and can often be heard calling to you when she knows it’s dinner time.
Mae has recently lost her mum so is looking for a new friend/ friends to keep her company. Since being in our care Mae has shown she can be a little bit nervous at times especially around sudden movements and when being overhandled so may take a little time to bond with her new owners.
Mae will require an enclosure a minimum size of 6ft x 2ft, either indoors (such as a C&C pen) or outdoors (a large shed set-up) and we do recommend a run for the garden with a lid, Mae can be housed with a male or female either as a pair or mixed with a larger group.
Can live with cats/ dogs in a separate room. Age requirement of children is 8+ Years, this is due to her being nervous around overhandling so child supervision for interaction is advised.
When Mae first came into our care she had a case of ringworm and had also chipped 2 teeth, the ringworm has been treated and both teeth have grown back perfectly and now Mae currently has no medical issues.
