Lavender

Name: Lavender

Age: 4 years old

Sex: Female

Breed: Rabbit

Ref number: 16

Personality:
This is the lovely Lavender! She loves nothing more than to graze away at her hay, or to work through a puzzle or forage feeder to get her morning nuggets. On a good weather day, Lavender won’t pass on the opportunity to bask in a warm cosy sun spot. All she needs now is her forever home and family!

Behaviour:
Lavender is a lady of her own mind, who is seeking her forever home as a single rabbit. We have worked through many attempts to bond Lavender with another rabbit, but it is clear to us now that life as a single rabbit is much better suited for her. Companionship from her humans is what she likes most, but on her terms with a family who are able to provide a patient approach as she settles into her new home. Lavender would require at least one meeting, where staff can discuss her requirements and allow the potential adopter to interact with her.

Housing:
Lavender can be homed to an indoor or outdoor set up, such as a large rabbit-proof room or a minimum of a 6ft x 4ft outdoor shed with a run/aviary. Either accommodations must be safe environments that allow her to display their natural behaviours, like digging, foraging and binkying!

Children/pets:
Lavender can live around cats/dogs, but to be kept separately. Children would need to be at least of secondary school age (11-18 years), where the younger of aged children should be supervised when interacting with her.

Vet history:
Lavender is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She has also had her teeth checked and currently has no medical issues.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £55. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbit.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
