Name: Lavender
Age: approximately 4 years
Sex: Female
Breed: Rabbit
Ref number: 16
Personality:
Lavender is a sweet girl who loves to go on adventures and to explore the outdoors. When she’s not expelling her energy, you will often find her relaxing on her outside shelf or in her hay box. Lavender is desperate to find a male bunny companion to aid in boosting her confidence, and to live happily ever after.

Behaviour:
One meeting is required with Lavender, as she is an independent girl and therefore a little unsure around handling so tends to prefer a slightly hands off approach. Over time this has greatly improved since she arrived, and enjoys socialising on her terms. The addition of her carrier training has made this even more manageable. This is advised to be continued in the new home and can be demonstrated by staff, but isn’t compulsory. During a meet, staff can discuss Lavender, her requirements and any questions prior to the mixing of both rabbits.
Housing:
Lavender can be housed either indoors, in a large rabbit-proof room, or outdoors, in a large shed with an aviary/run permanently attached. Sizes can be discussed with staff but a minimum of 6ft x 4ft for each.
Children/pets:
Children will need to be 10+ years. This is due to Lavender’s independence, requiring some space and will need those around her to understand when she is feeling uncomfortable. We would advise children to be supervised during interactions. She can live around dogs/cats, but to be kept separately.
Vet history:
Lavender is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She has also had her teeth checked and currently has no medical issues.
Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £30. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbit.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
