Personality:
Joyce hasn’t taken long to adjust in the cattery environment. She is a friendly and affectionate girl and is gaining her confidence day by day, now often greeting you at the door when you enter her unit. Joyce hasn’t shown a playful side yet but this may come within time.

Behaviour:
Joyce enjoys spending time with her socialisers. After a few days of being a little shy whilst she was settling, she is now coming straight out to see you. She likes to sit on their lap getting all the fuss she can. She purrs away and will put her paw on you to reach out for the attention. Joyce also likes to brush herself against your legs

Housing:
Joyce will need a home with outside access to a garden. She was benefit from a quiet area set up with her resources for a few days whilst she settles. She cannot be homed in Fareham, PO14 area.

Children/pets:
Joyce could live with secondary school aged children. Joyce has previously lived with cats and dogs but decided to move out of the home, for this reason she would be best suited as an only pet so she can have all the attention of her new owners in a calm and quiet household.

Vet history:
Joyce is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 24/12/25 – 30/12/25 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Joyce has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
