Personality:
Humphrey quickly become a staff favourite since coming into our care. He is a confident boy when it comes to making new friends but a little wary of external noises whilst he is still adjusting to the cattery environment.
Behaviour:
Humphrey is a very affectionate boy. He likes to have human company and finds comfort in being talked too. He is a gentle boy and will lay next to staff, rolling over, enjoying having all the attention. He will sit on your lap and nudge your hand for a fuss. He purrs quietly throughout being socialised and will chill out paddy pawing in his bed. He hasn’t yet shown an interest in toys however this may change within a home environment.
Housing:
Humphrey will need a home with outside access to a garden. He cannot be rehomed in Southsea, Portsmouth.
Children/pets:
Humphrey could live with a primary school aged child or above. Whilst we believe Humphrey to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times. Humphrey will need to be an only pet.
Vet history:
Humphrey is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 29/05/25 – 4/05/25 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Humphrey has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
