Name: Henry
Age: 7 years 2 months
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 189
Personality:
Henry is a chatty and friendly boy who enjoys spending time with his socialisers. He quickly makes his way over and will greet you with a head bump on your hand. Although he is a little shy, he is curious and reassured by having company with people. Onsite staff let Henry initiate hands on interactions to avoid overstimulation.
Behaviour:
Henry loves his cozy igloo bed to rest in when undisturbed. When his socialisers approach his unit he often starts chatting, and sometimes the occasional hiss if he’s unsure. It’s not long before he is then asking for attention either by nudging your hands or reaching his paw out and gently tapping you. He leans in for the fuss and does like to roll over at times too.
Housing:
Henry does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to his unit where he feels safe, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in so14.
Children/pets:
Due to his nervous nature, Henry will need to be the only pet in an adult only household
Vet history:
Henry is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 28/10/26 – 3/11/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Henry has no known medical conditions. He is currently on some skin and coat supplements to help improve his coat due to poor living conditions prior to the cattery. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
