Personality:
Eliza came into our care and quickly went into a foster home with her kittens. Her foster carer reports that she is incredibly sweet and will make a great companion. She enjoys having the company and fuss, but also loves being able to play. She is now back on site and has grown in confidence since her first arrival at the shelter.
Behaviour:
Whilst in the foster home, Eliza soon got to know her foster carer well and would greet her when she entered the room. She was equally as content either sitting on her carer’s lap or just laying beside her. She would chirrup and initiate for some gentle strokes often. Eliza enjoys engaging in interactive play with her toys, but will also take herself off independently to play. She is fun to watch whilst she stalks, chase’s and pounces on her soft toys. Since being back in our care, Eliza has been making the most of her socialising sessions, following her carers and headbutting for some fuss.
Housing:
Eliza does prefer the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Gosport PO13 area.
Children/pets:
Eliza is looking for an only pet household. She has a strong disliking to other cats so she would benefit from no neighbouring cats. She could live with older secondary school aged children, pending a successful meeting at the shelter.
Vet history:
Eliza is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed and fully vaccinated. Eliza has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
