Name: Daphne and Eloise
Age: Unknown (Young)
Sex: Females
Breed: Lop Rabbits
Ref number: 21 & 22
Personality:
Here are the darling Daphne and Eloise! Two sweet sisters eager to find their forever home. These girls love to greet us no matter the time of day, hopping round our feet or jumping on laps to get some treats. Munching through hay or snuggled for a power nap are their other favourite things to do!
Behaviour:
Daphne and Eloise can have at least one meeting, where staff can discuss their requirements and allow the potential adopter to interact with them. The girls can get a little fidgety with handling after a while, but are gradually gaining confidence each day. Otherwise since being in our care, there have been no concerns. Staff have also introduced them to carrier training, this can be continued in the new home and shown how but isn’t compulsory.
Housing:
They can either be homed to an indoor or outdoor set up. This would require a large rabbit-proof room or a large shed outdoors with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing would be 6ft x 4ft. Either accommodations need to be safe environments that allow the girls to display natural behaviours, such as digging and foraging.
Children/pets:
They can live around dogs/cats, but to be kept separately. Children would need to be 6+years and supervised when interacting/handling the rabbits.
Vet history:
Daphne and Eloise are fully vaccinated and microchipped. They have had a full dental check and are neutered, with no current medical issues.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
