Clyde

Name: Clyde

Age: 2 years

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 38

Personality:
Clyde is a sweet boy who settled into the cattery quickly. He is friendly and gentle natured. He is confident in making new friends and is enjoying having staff and volunteers company. Clyde can be a little unsure of new sounds but he is getting braver and doesn’t often hide for long.

Behaviour:
Clyde greets his socialisers as they enter his unit or if he hears his name being called. He headbutts and rubs himself around your legs for the attention. He enjoys a head scratch and will lean into your hand. Sometimes he can be a little chatty with socialisers. He loves getting the fresh air through the mesh of the unit and watching the surroundings. Clyde likes having a brush and will purr away. He can be quite playful, chasing the toys around the unit.

Housing:
Clyde will need a home with outside access to a garden. He cannot be homed in Winchester Po17 area.

Children/pets:
Clyde could live with primary school aged children. Whilst we believe him to be happy around young children, he should be supervised at all times. With a slow introduction they could possibly live with a dog who is use to living with cats. He cannot live with other cats.

Vet history:
Clyde is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 19/03/26 – 25/03/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Clyde has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
