Chewbacca

Name: Chewbacca

Age: 11 weeks

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 85

Personality:
Chewbacca sadly came into our care after being found abandoned in a carrier with his litter mates. Despite this terrible start he is a very affectionate boy. He is the most confident of the litter and is always the first to come and greet you and he enjoys human companionship.

Behaviour:
Chewwy is a typical kitten who enjoys playing with his toys and his litter mates, he has plenty of energy to burn off. Once he’s worn himself out, you can usually find his snoozing with his litter mates, recharging his batteries to go again. He will certainly keep his new family entertained.

Housing:
Chewwy will need a home with outside access to a private garden. He would need someone to be around for a good portion of the day whilst he is still young.

Children/pets:
With a slow introduction he could possibly live with another younger cat or a dog who is use to living with cats: they will need to be used to kittens with high energy levels. He could live with primary school aged children as long as they are calm around him and understand he is not a toy.

Vet history:
Chewbacca is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 29/5/26 and 5/6/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £120. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
