Bruce

Name: Bruce

Age: 4 years approx

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 174

Personality:
Bruce hasn’t had the best start in life, coming from a massive multi-cat household, he was absolutely terrified when he came into the cattery environment. Luckily for Bruce one of our amazing volunteers offered her spare room to foster him. With lots of time and patience (and yummy food!) Bruce has absolutely thrived and is now ready to find his forever home.

Behaviour:
Bruce would initially hide under the duvet with his foster mum gently talking to him, each week he would get a little braver. It’s taken a couple of months of his foster mum working at a pace Bruce feels comfortable with for him to truly show his beautiful character. Brucey Boy, as his foster mum lovingly calls him, now enjoys lots of fuss and attention, will come when called, will sit on her lap for cuddles, rubs around her legs when she’s preparing his food and even chooses to sleep on her bed with her at night.

Housing:
It is essential Bruce has his own unused room to initially settle in, this may be for a couple of months. Once Bruce is happy in his new surroundings he would love his own garden to explore. He cannot be homed in Southampton (SO17 area).

Children/pets:
Bruce needs a calm and quiet adult only home where he is the only pet.

Vet history:
Bruce is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Bruce has had a dental whilst in our care. He has no known medical conditions. Bruce has been on some medication to help him relax while in our care which is currently being reduced. This will be provided for his new home and a plan will be given on how to gradually wean him off of this. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
