Virgil

Name: Virgil

Age: 1 year

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 197

Personality:
Virgil is a lovely boy that can be quite shy at first, but it doesn’t take him long to come around. Once he is comfortable with you he is affectionate and chatty, and runs to greet you at the unit front, especially around feeding time (his favourite time of day).

Behaviour:
Virgil can usually be found in his cosy bed on the highest shelf. When you enter his unit he might stay hidden for a moment until he realises it is one of his friends. Then he is straight out, chatting away and asking for a small fuss. Virgil’s confidence is growing day by day, and he now enjoys a little walk up and down the cattery floor, before returning to the safety of his unit.

Housing:
Virgil does prefer the safety of his unit and finds new surroundings a little scary at first, so for this reason he would greatly benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in PO12 area of Gosport.

Children/pets:
Virgil will need to be the only pet in the household. He could be rehomed with children of primary school age, pending a successful meet.

Vet history:
Virgil is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. He has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
