Daisy

Name: Daisy

Age: 10 months approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 188

Personality:
Daisy is a loving girl. Once she gets to know you, she will often come out to see you when called and will greet with a headbutt. She is sensitive especially around new sounds or movements so she prefers being socialised during quieter times with little disruption.

Behaviour:
Daisy enjoys having a fuss and purrs away during this. She brushes up against her socialisers and will continue to check in with them whilst investigating around her unit. She can sometimes get worried by external sounds and pause whilst she looks to see what’s going on. In her previous home her owner said she was a lap cat and although she has not yet been brave enough in the cattery environment, we believe that in a calm and predictable household, she will feel safer to do so again.

Housing:
Daisy does prefer the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would need her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Thornhill area of Southampton.

Children/pets:
Daisy would benefit from being the only pet in an adult only household due to her shy nature. She could have visiting children of junior school aged.

Vet history:
Daisy is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 27/10 – 3/11 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Daisy has no known medical conditions. When she arrived in our care she had scabs due to fleas however her coat condition is improving well. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £120. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:
