Personality:
Dash and Daisy are a confident pair of siblings who will always come and greet you the second you enter their enclosure and love nothing more then exploring their environment and burning off some energy. When they aren’t off exploring they will be eagerly awaiting their veg in the evenings.
Behaviour:
Dash and Daisy are both pretty confident already and will approach anyone however like most rabbits they don’t like overhandling so a slow approach is best to help them get used to it. They will require at least one meet where you can meet them and the staff can discuss their requirements.
Housing:
•Rabbits must have a minimum living space of 3 metres long x 2 metres wide x 1 metre high, with 24-hour access at all times.
• All outdoor accommodation must be fully predator-proof. (Sheds/Aviaries)
• Wire mesh must be a minimum of 16-gauge thickness.
Sheds must have secure/opening windows to allow for natural light and ventilation.
• Indoor Housing:
• Indoor rabbits must live in a rabbit-proofed environment.
• All electrical wires and cables must be fully protected or hidden.
• Any toxic or unsafe plants must be removed or kept completely out of reach.
• Flooring should be non-slip and comfortable, with safe areas for digging, hiding, and resting.
Children/pets:
Dash and Daisy can live around other animals, but to be kept separately. They can also live with children of primary school age (5-11 years) and up. younger children should be supervised when interacting/ handling rabbits.
Vet history:
Both rabbits are neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. They have also had a full teeth check and have no current health concerns.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
