Name: Wendy
Age: 9 months
Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 78
Personality:
Poor Wendy has been through so much in her short life but despite this she is such a sweet natured little girl who just loves people. She can be a little shy and is still a little wary of noise and movement around the cattery.
Behaviour:
Wendy loves to sleep in her scratch post but will pop her little head out and say hello as soon as you enter her unit. She really enjoys being around people.
Housing:
Wendy does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to her unit where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property. Because of Wendy’s breed and size we feel that she needs controlled access to the outside. This could be either by a secure cat proof garden or a catio. She cannot go to the SO14 area of Southampton.
Children/pets:
Wendy really enjoyed being visited by one of the staff members children who is of older primary school age. However, because she can be very noise sensitive they would need to be very quiet and calm around her. She would prefer to be the only pet.
Vet history:
Wendy is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. her second vaccination is due between 21st and 28th of May at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Wendy has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
