Sox

Name: Sox

Age: 8 years

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic long Hair

Ref number: 65

Personality:
Sox is a an affectionate but independent boy who enjoys a little fuss from his staff! Once he’s said hello for a bit, he likes to go off and see what’s going on out of the window. He appreciates some company from his socialisers and is responsive when spoken to. He has shown to be quite sensitive in this environment so he would love a quiet household with someone to hang around with.

Behaviour:
Sox often comes down from his top shelf to see his socialisers and will rub around their legs to ask for some attention. He will sometimes nudge their hand for more strokes and then find a comfy place to chill out again. Sox is very wary of the noises within the cattery environment so he will run and hide if he hears anything he’s not sure of.

Housing:
Sox does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to his unit where he feels safe, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in SO53 area

Children/pets:
Sox is a very sensitive boy. For this reason we feel he would be best suited to an adult only home with no other pets.

Vet history:

Sox is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 29/4/26 and the 6/5/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Sox has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
