Name: Pip & Inky
Age: 11 weeks
Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 16
Personality:
Inky is a sweet girl. She shy’s away initially but is becoming more confident in approaching people for the attention. She is a typical kitten who has lots of energy and playfulness. Pip is a lovely girl who is a tad more nervous but she often observes then will join in with the fun. She is building her trust each day and starting to show more of her energetic and affectionate nature. Inky and Pip are ready to find their forever home so they are looking forward to having the extra space to play chase and find new cosy space’s to cuddle up together.
Behaviour:
Inky enjoys socialising sessions where she can be with people, have some fuss and a good play. She loves some gentle strokes and will do mini rolls to ask for more. She loves jumping and climbing around the unit to tire herself out. When she is ready for a nap, she gets comfy in a hide and snuggles with her sister. Pip likes playing peek-a-boo using the scratching tree as a good place to spring out from. Once she has built her confidence up, she enjoys a fuss and someone to play with the wand toys with her. Pip and Inky are both interested in coming out onto the cattery floor so they can see what’s about and run up and down together.
Housing:
Inky and Pip prefer the safety of their unit and find new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason they would benefit from their own space set up for them to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden.
Children/pets:
With a slow introduction they could possibly live with another cat or a dog who is used to living with cats: they will need to be used to kittens with high energy levels. They can be housed with secondary school children.
Vet history:
Inky and Pip are neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Since they came in Inky and Pip have had very delicate tummies resulting in bouts of intermittent diarrhoea and soft faeces. We are mainly on top of this now using probiotics and gastro food. We are slowly introducing normal kitten food back into the diet. Hopefully once they are truly settled into a home their stomachs will become less sensitive but they may need to stay on a sensitive diet. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
