Arwen

Name: Arwen

Age: 10 months

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic

Ref number: 9

Personality:
Arwen is a sweet and inquisitive girl who will come to greet you when you enter her unit. Once she’s had some attention she will take herself off to relax or eat some hay. She can often be found keeping herself busy with her forage toys and enrichment. She is now looking for the companionship of a neutered male rabbit.

Behaviour:
When she first came in Arwen was quite shy but has since massively grown in confidence. She is still very nervous around handling and a slow approach would need to be taken. We require at least one meet with Arwen before adoption where staff can discuss her requirements. Questions about rabbit bonding can be answered during the meet as well.

Housing:
Arwen is looking for either an indoor or outdoor accommodation. This would need to be either a large rabbit-proof room, or a large shed outdoors with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing is 6ft x 4ft, where it is a safe environment that allows the rabbits to display their natural behaviors (digging, foraging and binkying).

Children/pets:
Arwen can live around other pets, but to be kept separately. She can also live with children from Primary School age (5-11 years) and up. Young children should be supervised when handling/interacting with the rabbits.

Vet history:
Arwen is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and had a full teeth check. She currently has no other medical issues.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £55. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
