Personality:
Erica is a sweet girl who enjoys company, she loves a cuddle on your lap as well as someone to play with. She is growing in confidence and will now greet socialisers at the door for a fuss. She is a gentle and affectionate girl.
Behaviour:
Erica is energetic and loves a good play! She will spend a lot of her time chasing feather stick toys in her unit, especially her snake toy. Erica will purr softly when she finds a comfortable lap to relax on. She will initiate gentle strokes by rubbing near your hands or legs. When she is undisturbed in her unit, she is now brave enough to have a snooze in her bed at the front of her unit.
Housing:
Erica does prefer the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. she cannot be homed in Northam area of Southampton (SO14).
Children/pets:
Erica will need to live with secondary school aged children who will give her the space and time to settle into a new environment. Erica is a flu carrier so unfortunately she can’t be rehomed with cats or dogs.
Vet history:
Erica had cat flu when she first came into our care. It was very mild and didn’t require any veterinary treatment. This can re occur in times of stress. Erica is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
