Lucy

Name: Lucy

Age: 1 year 7 months

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 205

Personality:
Lucy was a shy little girl when she first came into our care. She has settled into the cattery routine and is gaining more confidence each day to explore. She is a friendly and affectionate girl. She was described as a playful girl in her previous home and she has started to show this to her socialisers.

Behaviour:
Lucy makes a quick appearance to see her socialisers and will often greet with a big stretch. She enjoys  having some gentle strokes and will headbutt for more. Lucy likes to explore the cattery floor and she will come over every so often to check in. She will brush around your legs and purr away. Lucy has started to sit at the front of her unit when she can hear people around. It has taken Lucy a little while to settle and she can still be a little bit spooked by different sounds.

Housing:
Lucy does prefer the safety of her carrier and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be rehomed in so16 Southampton.

Children/pets:
Lucy would do well in an adult only household due to her nervous nature. She cannot be rehomed with dogs or cats due to onsite observations.

Vet history:
Lucy is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated.
Lucy has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
