Name: Parker
Age: 2 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 189
Personality:
Parker is a sweet boy and is enjoying his time in foster but is now ready to find his forever home. Parker has built a good bond with his foster carer and he has been described as a really affectionate boy. It didn’t take Parker long to gain trust with the fosterer and has benefitted from having a quiet environment to do this in. He is a calm boy who loves cuddles. He is sensitive to noise but is intrigued to see what’s going on in his surroundings. Parker will make a lovely addition to a quiet household and he has shown that once he trusts his carer, he will become devoted and loyal towards them.
Behaviour:
Parker loves being in the company of his foster carer. He makes a friendly greeting and will spend time either on her lap or beside her having a cuddle. He will nudge for a fuss then roll over and have a little belly rub. Although he is not massively playful, he is known for getting the zoomies in the mornings. He has made huge progress in his confidence and explore a little further each day. Parker is still sensitive so his owners will need to be patient and allow him to adjust at his own pace. He would love to have his adopters around during the day so he can eventually curl up on the sofa with them.
Housing:
Parker will need his own used room to settle into before exploring the rest of the property and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in Eastleigh so50
Children/pets:
Parker will need an adult only household and will need to be the only pet.
Vet history:
Parker is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Parker has no known medical conditions. Parker came into our care with ear mites. He has had routine treatment for this and regular ear cleaning. His ears are now looking much better but adopters will need to be aware as he may need ad-hoc cleaning in the future. Regular vet prescribed flea and wormer is advised from your own vet. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
