Peach and Stitch

Name: Peach & Stitch

Age: 2 years 6 months & 1 year 6 months

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 199 & 200

Personality:
Peach and Stitch are a mother and daughter duo who came into our care through no fault of their own. In their previous home, they were both affectionate girls and loved to have a good play. Stitch is the most confident of the pair in the cattery environment and has made friends with staff and volunteers. Peach has taken a little more time to settle but she is now coming out to greet her socialisers.

Behaviour:
Stitch enjoys being with her socialisers. She purrs away and nudges your hand for strokes; sometimes greeting with a little chirrup. She is continuing to show her personality more and more each day. Peach initially hid away whilst she was settling. Now Peach has gained her confidence so she is enjoying venturing out to see her surroundings. Peach will headbutt when she wants a fuss and leans into your hand for some chin rubs. She has also started to engage in play with a variety of her toys. On the camera footage, both girls explore their unit overnight and are very playful together. They chat away to each other and play a little game of hide and seek. Peach especially enjoys stretching out on the heated floor.

Housing:
Peach and Stitch prefer the safety of their unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason they would benefit from their own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. As they have taken a little while to settle, they would benefit from their new owners being patient whilst they get used to their new surroundings. They cannot be homed in Gosport, po13 area.

Children/pets:
Peach and Stitch cannot live with other cats or dogs. They could live with secondary school aged children who will give them time to settle into their new home.

Vet history:
Peach and Stitch are neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed and fully vaccinated. Peach and Stitch have no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £160. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
