Annie

Name: Annie

Age: 11 weeks approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 149

Personality:
Annie came into our care at a few days old after being found by a member of the public. She was hand reared by a fosterer and has recently come back to the cattery; ready to find her forever home. She is an affectionate girl and loves to be around people. She is very playful and energetic. Annie can be cautious of sounds she’s not sure of.

Behaviour:
Annie enjoys playing with a variety of toys, particularly the soft teddy toys. She can be a little rough during play at times and is learning to mouth at her toys rather than hands. She will greet her carers with a purr and initiate for a fuss. It’s not long before she’s then jumping and bouncing off your lap. Sometimes also having a tug at shoelaces.

Housing:
Annie will need a home with outside access to a garden. It would be beneficial for Annie to have a quiet area in the house; set up with her belongings whilst she initially settles into her new home.

Children/pets:
Annie will need to be the only cat in the home but she could live with a dog who is used to living with cats: they will need to be used to kittens with high energy levels. Annie can live with older secondary school aged children. This is due to her rough play shown in a foster home and in the cattery.

Vet history:
Annie is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 26/10/25 – 1/11/25 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Annie has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £120. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
