Name: Penelope
Age: 5 years approx
Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 166

Personality:
Penelope is a gentle and loving girl. She is sensitive to noise and initially a little shy but is gradually building her trust and meeting new people. Penelope enjoys the company of her socialisers and will make a speedy appearance to see them in the morning.

Behaviour:
Penelope found the new surroundings scary to begin with and it took her just over a week to get used to the routine. Now she feels safe in her pod, she comes out to greet her trusted socialisers and will usually brush her face against their hand to initiate the fuss. She is affectionate and when its quiet in the cattery, she loves rolling over on socialisers laps. She is still wary of what’s going on around her so she sometimes goes back to her inner pod until she’s ready to come out again.

Housing:
Penelope does prefer the safety of her inner pod and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Gosport po12 area.

Children/pets:
Penelope will need to be the only pet due to her nervous nature. She could live with older secondary school aged children who will let her adjust to her new surroundings.

Vet history:
Penelope is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Penelope has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
