Roo

Name: Roo

Age: Young Adult

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 123

Personality:
Roo is a very sweet little girl. She tends to be a bit on the shy side, but with a calm and patient approach she will come over to say hello and show you some love and affection. Once she’s had some fuss, Roo is happy to take herself away for some ‘me time’. She enjoys being around people and whilst she may not always be right next to you, she will happily relax near you snuggled up in her bed.

Behaviour:
Roo loves to watch people and the goings on in the cattery out of her window. She feels secure in her unit, and it makes her feel safe. She doesn’t like to venture out much, can be sensitive of noise and will run to her hiding place if she gets startled.

Housing:
As mentioned above, Roo prefers the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would need her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually an enclosed garden. She cannot be homed in Gosport area.

Children/pets:
Roo would prefer a quiet home with no other pets. She would prefer an adult only home.

Vet history:
Roo is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Roo possibly has the start of kidney disease. At the moment she is not receiving any treatment for this, although she may need a renal diet in the future. Roo did have a sensitive stomach when she first came into us and is currently being slowly transitioned onto a normal diet. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
