Garfield

Name: Garfield

Age: 5 months approx

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic

Ref number: 40

Personality:
Garfield is friendly and inquisitive boy, who loves playing in his tunnel and foraging for his food, after a tiring day of playing you will often find him having a snooze on his shelf. He is now looking for a new home with a neutered female rabbit.

Behaviour:
When Garfield first came to the centre he was quite nervous of sudden noises and movements but due to the patience of the staff he has improved greatly. once he’s comfortable he is even happy for some strokes while socialising with him. Naturally like most rabbits he can still be a little bit unsure around handling/ being picked up.

Housing:
Garfield can be rehomed to either an indoor or outdoor accommodation. This would need to be either a large rabbit-proof room, or a large shed outdoors with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing is 6ft x 4ft, where it is a safe environment that allows the rabbits to display their natural behaviors (digging, foraging and binkying).

Children/pets:
He can live around other pets, but to be kept separately. Garfield can live with children of Primary School age (5-11 years) and up. Younger children should be supervised when handling/interacting with the rabbits.

Vet history:
Garfield is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. he has also had a full teeth check, and has no other health issues.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £34. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbit.
