Name: Zippy
Age: 1 year
Sex: Female
Breed: Spaniel cross
Ref number: 4

Personality:
Zippy came to us due to no fault of her own. She came in with her mum Boots and we would consider applications for them to be homed together. She is a sweet and cuddly girl with a lot of energy and love to give!

Behaviour:
Zippy is an enthusiastic girl with a real zest for life. She is curious about everything and is enjoying learning to walk nicely on lead. She can still be a little unsure at times, particularly of new environments, but her confidence is growing everyday! Her ideal family would be interested in training and invested in helping her build her confidence. Zippy has spent some time on a foster home and this has really helped us get a better idea of how she will behave in a home. Zippy sleeps very well overnight and is content sleeping on her own till the morning. She is completely toilet trained now but prefers to go on a walk rather than in the garden. We are hopeful that once she is completely settled in her forever home she will begin to toilet in a garden area. Zippy loves to explore and does really well on her walks- she can be a little frustrated around dogs sometimes but is learning to pass them calmly. Zippy has been able to be left on her own for short periods of 2-3 hours now.

Housing:
She will need access to a secure private garden and cannot be rehomed to the PO13 area.

Children/pets:
Zippy will need to be the only pet in the household. Zippy can live with children 15+ and be left for short periods during the day, once settled.

Vet history:
Zippy does not have any ongoing medical conditions and is up to date on vaccinations, flea and worming. She has not been neutered and so will need to come back for this once she is settled.

Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
