Personality:
Zelda didn’t come to us in the best state but, despite her age, she’s still a bundle of fun that is now ready to find her forever home! She’s a loving girl who enjoys spending time with people either out on her walks or playing with her toys, we know this girl will make someone a wonderful companion.
Behaviour:
Zelda is a typical bull breed and would benefit from adopters with some knowledge or experience of the breed already. Typical of her breed she loves her play but can get a little over-zealous at times and has been doing well learning to break up her play with some calm time and using her nose. Zelda also has quite a high prey drive and so is often interested in chasing wildlife or cats when out on her walks!
Housing:
Zelda would benefit from a private and secure garden with 6ft fencing! Cannot be rehomed to the PO13 area. We have limited history on Zelda in the home and whilst we believe she could learn to be left for short periods this would need to be built up gradually and she will need someone around whilst she settles into her new home.
Children/pets:
Zelda would need to be the only pet in the home but could live with older secondary school age children who have been around energetic dogs before.
Vet history:
Zelda is up to date with flea, worming and vaccinations. She has also been spayed previously before coming to the Ark.

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
