Woody

Name: Woody

Age: 1 year approx

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 169

Personality:
Woody is an affectionate boy. He has built his confidence well since coming into our care and now is keen to be with human company. He is a gentle and loving boy but a little shy towards external noises. He is expanding his friendships on a daily basis.

Behaviour:
Now that Woody has settled, he comes over to his socialisers to greet them and it’s not long before he gets himself comfy on their lap for a cuddle. He purrs away and will nudge to get more attention. Although, he hasn’t shown playfulness yet, it’s likely once he’s comfortable in a home, he will show interest.

Housing:
Woody gets easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to his unit where he feels safe, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually an enclosed garden. He cannot be homed in the Waterlooville area.

Children/pets:
Woody would prefer to be the only pet. He may be able to be re homed with calm secondary school aged children.

Vet history:
Woody is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 29/9-6/10 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Woody has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
