Rehoming – Profile

History:

Winnie and Wednesday are mother and daughter and came into us from an unfortunate background. They had been roaming free for around 6 months with little to no human contact.

Behaviour observations on site:

Winnie is the mother of Wednesday, and they are both closely bonded. Winnie is very cautious and can take a while to get use to new people, however since coming into the ark the team have been slowly trying to gain her trust and she now comes over for her breakfast and dinner. She is a gentle girl who is always keeping an eye on her daughter making sure she is close by. Wednesday is slightly more trusting than her mum however she can still be cautious and shy. Wednesday is always first to come over in the morning looking for her breakfast and will finish off anything her mum doesn’t eat!

Both girls are very sweet and just need a loving forever home that will take the time to gain their trust and be patient with them.

If you are interested in the girls, you will need the following:

A defra CPH holding number.

A large field with a minimum of 5ft post and rail with stock fencing.

A field shelter that will fit them both.

Other goats (Not essential but they would benefit from)

Adoption fee: £80.00 for both. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the goats.

Medical history:

Both goats have had a vet check and are fully vaccinated. When they came in their feet were in poor condition, however they have now had their hooves trimmed and there is no lasting damage. Both girls have no currently health issues.
