Winifred

Name: Winifred

Age: 4 years approx

Sex: Female

Breed: DSH

Ref number: 51

Personality:
Winifred is an affectionate girl who likes to relax within human company. As she is a chilled back and loving girl she enjoys finding a comfy space on your lap to settle down and have gentle strokes. She loves her food so she’s often seen waiting around meal times.

Behaviour:
Winifred enjoys being in her outside run where she can sunbathe and watch everything go by. She also enjoys coming out onto the cattery floor for a stretch and to explore and once she’s had a walk around she will often choose to lay nearby you.

Housing:
Winifred does get easily spooked in the cattery and will return to her unit where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a fully enclosed private garden.  Winifred cannot be rehomed in Southampton S015 area

Children/pets:
Winifred can live with children 12+ as she can be a little nervous so would prefer a quieter home environment. Winifred could possibly live with another cat who is used to having cats around and after a slow introduction. Winifred could also possibly live with a calm dog who is used to having cats around and after a slow introduction.

Vet history:
Winifred is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Winifred come into our care with sores on her body which she has been on medication for and is currently being weaned off. She is also currently on some medication for a routine op so plans will be given to taper her off these medications in her new home.  4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
