Rehoming – Profile
History:
Wendy, John and Michael came into our care from a previous multi-bird household. Sadly, they have been with us for quite a long time but are now ready at last for rehoming.
Behaviour observations on site:
The time has finally come where Wendy, John and Michael are set to leave Neverland and are on the search for their forever home! Can you rescue this iconic trio?
Whilst all huddled on their perch, these sweet budgies have been crossing off the days until they are whisked away to a home of their own, where they can stretch their wings that little further! Due to their previous situation, these birdies are only accustomed to the indoors, but this doesn’t stop them chirping away and enjoying an occasional millet branch.
All 3 of them must be rehomed together into a large indoor cage, from having spent a long time in this environment. Plus, the ability of letting the budgies fly about in a room safely, is preferred. They can be mixed with other budgies and/or cockatiels but the cage would need to be large enough to accommodate the appropriate number of birds.
If you are interested in our budgies, please fill in an application form and also send in any photos you may have of your setup along with
measurements (to enquiries@rspcasolent.org.uk) to help speed up the adoption process. Thank you.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the Budgies.
Medical history:
All three budgies have been wormed and have no current medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
