Rehoming – Profile
History:
Behaviour observations on site:
Uno was a very nervous girl when she came to us but she has gradually grown in confidence and now has more staff and volunteers who she enjoys spending time with. She is a sweet, bright girl and responds well to training. Uno would benefit from attending training classes where she can develop her learning. She has walked with other dogs on site and has recently started going on group walks off site. We think Uno may benefit from living with another calm confident dog.
Uno is affectionate and enjoys cuddles with people she trusts, or just sitting with them and watching the world go by. It is likely that she had little opportunity to experience the wider world before coming into our care, so would benefit from owners who are willing to spend time introducing her to new experiences, at a pace she is able to cope with.
Uno is a bouncy and energetic puppy, she enjoys playing with toys and would benefit from games that challenge her mentally. She would need access to a large, secure garden as well as opportunities to practice lead walks.
Uno has separation anxiety and becomes very distressed when left alone. Uno will bark/howl when left and can be destructive to toys and her environment around her. Uno’s new owners will need to be patient and willing to put in work around her separation anxiety. She will not be able to be left at all initially.
Adoption fee: £180 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog
Medical history:
Uno would need to be spayed by our vets on site at a suitable age for her. This will be confirmed by our vets on adoption.
Uno is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatments.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Additional information:
Uno cannot be rehomed in the Fareham or Southampton area.
The adoption fee is £180. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
