Name: Troy
Age: 8 years 5 months
Sex: Male
Breed: Patterdale Terrier (Fell Terrier)
Ref number: 40

Personality:
Troy came to us due to no fault of his own. He absolutely loves a lap to sit on and a cuddle. Troy can be a little insecure and needs guidance when out on a walk.

Behaviour:
Troy is a sweet boy who loves the company of people, he can be worried in new surroundings and may jump up. Troy would flourish with someone who will take life at his pace and give him the reassurance he needs. Troy will need his world to be kept small initially until he builds his confidence up. The centre can provide behaviour support for up to three months post adoption.

Housing:
Troy would benefit from having his own garden to run around in, he could be left for up to 3 hours, this will need to be built up.

Children/pets:
Troy needs to be the only dog in the home, but could walk alongside another calm dog when out. He cannot live with cats but could live with children of secondary school age.

Vet history:
Troy has no on-going health conditions and has been flea/wormed and had his first vaccination he will need to return to the centre to have his second vaccination. Troy is neutered.
