Trixie came into our care as her owner unfortunately passed away
Behaviour observations on site:
Trixie is a lovely girl, who found herself in our care after her owner sadly passed away.
Trixie is confident and at 15 years old she knows her own mind! She absolutely loves your company and enjoys a good scratch behind the ear, she will even curl up on your lap for a snooze or laze in the sun. Trixie does have an independent side to her and will walk away but stay close when she has had enough attention.
Trixie has had a dental due to a build up plaque and tartar. It would be beneficial for her to have a mixture of wet and dry food to help promote healthy gums and teeth. Trixie is currently on a diet and she’s doing really well. In her new home this will need to be continued. As she is losing weight her love of playing and chasing balls is really starting to show and she adores rolling around in catnip.
Trixie is looking for a home and companionship. She needs to be the only pet with older children 12+ who will understand when she has had enough.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Trixie has had a dental while in our care. She has no known medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Trixie cannot be rehomed in Southampton and her adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
