Name: Tommy, Angelica & Chuckie
Age: 3 months approx
Sex: Male x2 , Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 137, 136, 138
Personality:
Tommy, Chuckie and Angelica didn’t have the greatest of starts to life but are looking forward to their next journey. As it is likely they wouldn’t have had much human contact before coming into our care, they were very frightened and would hide away from us as much they could. Within time, they have made lots of progress and now seek for staff and volunteers attention. Tommy and Angelica are the bravest of the trio and will come over to you for some gentle strokes. Chuckie is a little more hand shy and is taking slightly more time to trust people but is still showing lots of potential.
Behaviour:
Tommy is the most confident and likes to roll over next to your hand to initiate for tummy strokes. Followed by Angelica who likes to have a good sniff and rub around you when she wants a fuss. Chuckie often prefers to watch from a distance then make his way over to join in. As he can be more hand shy, we remain hands off to allow him to come to you first and initiate for contact. All 3 will enjoy playing with a feather stick toy which is good way to get to know them and build up their interactions with new people. They also love their food which helps Chuckie especially to boost his confidence. They will require patience and their own time to build up their confidence in their new home but it will be rewarding once you see their sweet personalities.
Housing:
Tommy, Chuckie and Angelica prefer the safety of their unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason they will need their own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. They cannot be homed in Southampton (SO17 area)
Children/pets:
Due to their nervous nature they will need to be the only pet in the household. They could live with secondary school aged children who will understand their background.
Vet history:
Tommy, Chuckie and Angelica are neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Tommy, Chuckie and Angelica have no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
