Name: Thor
Age: 2 years approx
Sex: Male
Breed: DSH
Ref number: 120
Personality:
Thor is such a sensitive little boy. He came from an incredibly busy household which he found really stressful and resulted in him pulling his fur out. This meant it took him some time to settle in the cattery environment and learn to trust the staff and volunteers. When he does he shows his sweet and affectionate side and enjoys being in your company.
Behaviour:
Thor really enjoys his food so this is a great way to make friends with him. Whilst Thor has been in our care we have taken everything at a pace he feels comfortable with to build his confidence. He hasn’t shown much of a playful side with toys but think he will when settled in his new home, although he does enjoy rolling around in catnip.
Housing:
Thor does get easily spooked when being socialised in his run and will run back to his carrier where he feels safe, so for this reason he would need his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in Southsea (PO5 area)
Children/pets:
Thor was not happy living with other animals in his previous home so will need to be an only pet. He also found living with children stressful so would be best suited to an adult only home.
Vet history:
Thor is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Thor has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
