We are excited to announce a new look for our Summer Event 2025 The theme this year is ‘Summer Country Fair’ and the idea is to recreate a good old fashioned family day out. Here are just some of the activities planned that you can take part in or simply sit back and enjoy!
Dog Show
A firm family favourite, our Dog Show is always well supported.
This year, we’ve ‘spiced it up’ by changing the categories to make it much more inclusive for all.
The categories will be:
- Best 6 legs (dogs and owner)
- Best kept coat
- Best rescue
- Cutest mixed breed
- Best junior handler
- Best in show
Entry is £3 per class or two classes for £5. Entries to be booked on the day at our Ticket Office.
Cake Baking Competition
Enter our cake baking competition for your chance to take away the winners trophy.
The classes are:
- Best large cake
- Best small cakes (batch of 6)
- Best children’s entry (large or small)
- Best tart
- Best decorated cake (large or small)
Entry is £3 per class or two classes for £5 and will be limited to 15 entries per class. For further details and an entry form email markwhite@rspcasolent.org.uk
Spud Hut & Bar
This year our wonderful volunteers will be providing all of your food and drink requirements for the day.
These will include:
- Jacket potatoes and a selection of beers, wines and spirits from our ‘Spud Hut & Bar’
- A selection of snacks, savouries, hot and cold drinks and kids ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’ lunch packs from our very own Chari-tea trailer
- A selection of cakes and afternoon tea from our competition bake tent.
