Personality:
Stella absolutely loves her people. She is a bundle of joy and just wants to hang out with you. She can be a little nervous around new people and it takes her a few meetings to make friends. She is very friendly with other dogs, and regularly walks with other dogs here. However she is strong on the lead and does pull towards other dogs. She loves training and learns very quickly. Although Stella is friendly and playful with other dogs, she can be very intense and at times misses ques from other dogs that they need space. We therefore feel at this time she would be best as an only dog in the home but she would enjoy having dog friends out and about.
Behaviour:
Stella will need more than the normal 3 meets while she learns that her new adopters are awesome, like her many friends here. Her loose lead training the staff have been doing with her will need to be completed in the home, as she can be very strong on a lead. Stella also has a high prey drive and can get easily distracted around wildlife.
Housing:
Cannot be rehomed to SP1 area. Will need 6 ft fencing. Adult only household.
Children/pets:
No other pets or children in the household.
Vet history:
Stella is neutered, microchipped, flead and wormed. Stella has no known medical conditions.
Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £180. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
