Personality:
Snowflake is such a sweet little girl who is growing in confidence everyday. When she first came in she would hide in her carrier but would poke her head out when you entered her pod. Now she actively comes out to greet you, often sniffing your hand and then giving it a gentle nudge to initiate contact.
Behaviour:
Snowflake quickly makes friends and once she fully trusts you she enjoys nothing more than being on your lap having a cuddle, she is such a loving and affectionate girl. She is getting braver each day and enjoys watching what’s happening outside of her unit and is even starting to explore the cattery floor, although if she hears a noise she will run back to the safety of her unit. She is such a sweet little girl who will make a lovely addition to the right family.
Housing:
Snowflake would benefit from a quiet room of the property to initially settle in. She will need a home with outside access to a garden. She cannot be homed in the PO6 area of Portsmouth.
Children/pets:
Snowflake came into our care from a very busy household, she found living with other animals and young children very stressful. For this reason she will need to be an only pet but can live with calm and quiet secondary school aged children.
Vet history:
Snowflake is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 05/08/2025 -11/08/2025 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Snowflake has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
