Rehoming – Profile

History:

Saffie came into our care via the dog warden as a stray, so we have no history on her.

Behaviour observations on site:

Saffie is looking for a quiet retirement home to relax and play in.

Saffie is a joy to be around and greets everyone with a happy waggy tail. Despite her age, she still has a zest for life and loves nothing more than pottering around in the field playing with her humans.

She is a superstar to be groomed and lays down patiently to be brushed. We know this golden girl will bring a smile to anyone’s face and we are so excited to see her settled in her new home.

She is learning how to behave more appropriately around other dogs. Currently Saffie will stalk and attempt to herd other dogs (as collie’s do) but this can be intimidating to other dogs, in which Saffie struggles to understand! She is doing great with her training so far but this will need to be continued in the home!

Saffie is looking ideally for someone who is happy to walk her in quieter areas and give her lots of cuddles!

Adoption fee: £180 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Medical history:

Saffie is vaccinated, flea, wormed and neutered.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Additional Information:

Cannot be rehomed within the Fareham area.
