Name: Roxy
Age: 11 years
Sex: Female
Breed: English Bull Terrier x Staffie
Ref number: 10
Personality:
Our sweet, funny girl Roxy is a huge character, even though she is an older lady she is still full of life and has boundless energy. Roxy Loves her walks and makes us all laugh when she throws herself on the floor for a good roll around. Roxy walks really well on the lead and is a joy to take for a nice long stroll.
Behaviour:
Roxy loves playing with toys but she can get a little over excited when playing with them so her new adopter will need to be shown how to play with her appropriately and continue to train her to improve her impulse control around toys. Roxy loves people and she would need a home where someone is around most of the time to help her settle in and gradually get used to being left alone.
Housing:
Roxy will need a home with a private enclosed garden with 6ft fencing where she can let off steam. She cannot be rehomed to the PO2 area.
Children/pets:
Roxy could be rehomed with another dog subject to successful meets at the centre, she could also live with a dog savvy cat and children over the age of 10.
Vet history:
We believe Roxy has been spayed based on the vet history we received from the previous owners but adopters would need to look out for signs of her coming into season and then get in contact with the centre to arrange a date for spaying. She is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £180. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
