Personality:
Roxie is a loving girl and settled into our care quickly. Roxie is gentle and showing some playfulness. She enjoys having company and takes herself away once she’s ready to snooze.
Behaviour:
Roxie comes over to see people as soon as they enter her unit and rubs around for a fuss. She eagerly waits for you to sit down and then gets on and off your lap headbutting around for the attention. She purrs away most of the time and then will roll around the floor giving slow blinks. Sometimes she will reach her paws out so you keep giving her more fuss! Whilst Roxie rolls around the floor, she also likes to bat around with her toys and will chase after them if you play with her.
Housing:
Roxie will need a home with outside access to a garden. She cannot be homed in Fareham po14 area.
Children/pets:
Roxie will need an adult only home, with visiting children secondary school +, as she came into our care due to having a strong dislike to the resident children. She cannot live with other cats due to her disking other cats in the cattery. She will benefit from being the only pet in the property to keep her stress levels down.
Vet history:
Roxie is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 10/04/26 – 16/04/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Roxie has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
