Name: Rosa
Age: 12 weeks
Sex: Female
Breed: Bull breed mix
Ref number: 12

Personality:
Let us introduce you to our lovely but very lively Rosa. She has not had the best start to life and found herself with us at only a few months old. Rosa is confident to try new things and we have been gradually exposing her to things here at the centre. She has had
time being socialized with people here and also been on some in arm (or in pram!) walks but her experience of the world is pretty limited at the moment. Like all puppies, Rosa is playful and affectionate, but of course, a little mouthy and like to chew on things and fingers too. Rosa will need dedicated owners who are prepared to put in the time and effort it takes when raising a puppy. Adopters should enrol their puppy in training classes to help them start off on the right paw.
Please do not apply for this puppy if you are not in a position to adopt immediately.

Behaviour:
Rosa is a very playful, confident and explorative puppy she loves to play with toys and her siblings, but can be over the top with them at times. Rosa loves a good game of tug and run around the play area. Rosa is at her teething and mouth exploring age so will need plenty of toys, we very rarely see Rosa not moving around and she is the most likely to grab hold of clothing and fingers so will need
experienced puppy owners who are prepared to work with her and have plenty of patience and understanding.

Housing:
Rosa will not be able to be left alone at all initially, she will need someone home with her at all times and will need a gradual exposure to being left alone. She will need access to a private, secure garden. She will need her adopters to be willing to puppy proof their
home to set their puppy up for success possibly even restricting access to certain areas with things like baby gates.

Children/pets:
Rosa can live with secondary school aged children, dog savvy cats and other dogs subject to successful meets at the centre. Please consider if your existing animals would be happy to welcome a very bouncy puppy into their home. Adopters must have the ability and be willing to separate the puppy from other animals and children and to introduce them gradually, and guide children how to behave around them.

Vet history:
While here Rosa has had what we suspect to have been kennel cough, she is well now but may still cough occasionally, details will be provided to the adopters. They are also currently fed puppy gastro which we hope to wean them off soon but any new home may need to order this food in initially. Rosa is up to date with Flea and Worming treatment. She has had her first vaccination and will need to return to the shelter for her 2nd vaccination and neutering at the appropriate age.

Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
