Roo

Name: Roo

Age: 1 year approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 123

Personality:
Roo is a very sweet little girl. She tends to be a bit on the shy side, but with a calm and patient approach she will come over to say hello and show you some love and affection. Once she’s had some fuss, Roo is happy to take herself away for some ‘me time’. She enjoys being around people and whilst she may not always be right next to you, she will happily relax near you snuggled up in her bed.

Behaviour:
Roo loves to watch people and the goings on in the cattery out of her window. She feels most secure in her unit, but is getting braver in venturing out to explore the cattery floor. She can be a sensitive girl who will run back to the safe space of her unit if she gets startled or there are loud noises. We believe Roo will thrive in a calm and quiet household where she has the opportunity to grow and show what an affectionate girl she is.

Housing:
As mentioned above, Roo prefers the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would need her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually an enclosed garden. She cannot be homed in Gosport area.

Children/pets:
Roo would prefer a quiet home with no other pets. She would prefer an adult only home.

Vet history:
Roo is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Roo has one kidney slightly smaller than the other, which could indicate she possibly has the start of kidney disease. This was an incidental finding during X-rays and at present, she is showing no clinical signs. We have done several urine samples during her time with us which have been normal so is currently not needing any treatment or a special diet for this. Roo did have a sensitive stomach when she first came into us and has successfully been weaned off a vet prescribed diet. She is currently on James Wellbeloved fish flavour diet which she enjoys and is stable on. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
